Jason Tielker is professional engineer with a 28-year track record as a leader accountable for delivering complex projects in the hydrocarbons, mining, and infrastructure sectors. Recognized as a dynamic leader, Jason possesses demonstrated skills in goal setting, coaching, and organizational management, making him adept at navigating through ambiguous situations and leading teams during times of organizational change. His expertise extends to customer and stakeholder management, contract negotiation, financial planning, management of regulatory processes, budget management, strategy development, and complex decision-making, bolstered by a solid foundation in project management and consulting engineering. Jason has successfully overseen large teams, spanning up to 300 individuals across multiple geographical locations. He thrives in environments that prioritize people, embrace technological advancements, and demonstrate respect for the communities in which they operate.
Chad Martin holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas and has over 20 years of experience in specialty chemical manufacturing. He previously worked in the production of high purity vanadium products with a focus on Vanadium Redox Battery Electrolyte production and research. Chad gained valuable experience in production, maintenance, and cost control for entire plant sites as well as product development and project implementation.
Steve Ross is a senior business leader with 30 years of success in energy and infrastructure consulting. Mr. Ross is an environmental and water resources professional, and his background includes hydrology, hydrogeology, water quality, groundwater modeling, and water resources evaluation. He is Licensed as a Professional Geologist in California and Alberta.
Mr. Rosen brings more than 13 years of experience in corporate strategy, finance, and capital markets. He previously held roles in Corporate Strategy, M&A, and Investor Relations for Rio Tinto, Arcadium Lithium and Livent. Prior to this, he spent over six years with Barclays in its Investment Banking division. Mr. Rosen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Northwestern University.
Ms. McDonald is an accounting and finance professional with nearly 15 years of experience spanning both public and private sectors. Most recently, she served as VP of Accounting at Open Lending, where she led the company’s accounting, finance, and reporting functions. Her career includes senior roles in the energy and financial services industries, notably at Parsley Energy, where she played a key role in building and scaling financial reporting and technical accounting functions during a period of rapid growth and transformation. She brings a strong foundation in financial operations and regulatory compliance, drawing on early experience in public accounting. Ms. McDonald holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Texas – Permian Basin and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. Sobel is a seasoned HSSE executive with over three decades of distinguished leadership in health, safety, security, environmental, quality, sustainability, and risk management across global industrial and logistics sectors. He most previously served as Vice President of HSSE for the Americas at DP World, where he oversaw HSSE strategy and execution across more than 40 logistics, port, and terminal operations in North and South America. Prior to DP World, he held senior leadership roles at Air Liquide, New Fortress Energy, Wilhelmsen Ship Management, and Sunoco Logistics, where he led multi-site operational risk, compliance, and crisis management programs. His earlier service in the U.S. Coast Guard laid the foundation for his deep regulatory expertise and command-level emergency response capabilities. Mr. Sobel is recognized for developing and embedding world-class safety cultures, behavioral safety programs, and regulatory-compliant management systems.
Mr. Lutgring brings over two decades of legal and strategic advisory experience across corporate law, regulatory compliance and commercial transactions. Prior to joining Standard Lithium, Mr. Lutgring served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Albemarle Corporation, where he led legal support for global supply chain operations, manufacturing, engineering and corporate functions including human resources, information technology and risk management. Mr. Lutgring played a pivotal role in major corporate initiatives, including the $6.2 billion acquisition of Rockwood Holdings to enter the lithium business, as well as the $3.2 billion divestiture of Chemetall Surface Treatment to BASF. Prior to Albemarle, Mr. Lutgring held senior legal roles at Amedisys, Inc., and practiced with respected law firms, advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, securities and governance matters. He is recognized for his ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and align legal strategy with business objectives.
