Leading a New Era of Responsible Lithium Production

Standard Lithium aims to be a leader in responsible lithium production in North America, prioritizing efficiency, sustainability, and community partnership.

We are developing a domestic supply of this critical resource. Through a transformative partnership with global energy leader Equinor, renowned for its commitment to renewable energy and decarbonization, we are accelerating the development of our large-scale lithium projects in the resource-rich Smackover Formation, located in South West Arkansas and East Texas, using responsible development practices. These projects harness the vast potential of the Smackover Formation, renowned for its high lithium concentrations and long-standing history of contributing to the U.S. energy landscape.

Standard Lithium, an industry leader in the application of Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE), is collaborating with Koch Engineered Solutions, a Koch Industries company and leader in the commercial development and scale-up of DLE technologies. This strategic partnership is focused on efficiently and responsibly extracting lithium from the Smackover Formation's vast resources.

Our projects are strategically located to benefit from the strong stakeholder support, business-friendly climates, skilled workforce, and existing industrial infrastructure found within Arkansas and Texas. By leveraging our deep expertise in the Smackover Formation alongside these strategic partnerships, advanced technologies, and responsible practices, Standard Lithium is poised to establish a leading domestic supply of lithium to support the rapidly growing electric vehicle and battery storage sectors.
